Champagne Shuffle Set For April 18, 2021 

Due to Coronavirus concerns the Downtown Waterfront Parks Foundation has postponed its 3rd Annual Champagne Shuffle Fundraiser until Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the historic St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, 559 Mirror Lake Dr. N., St. Petersburg.  Those who purchased tickets for this event, originally scheduled date, will be granted a refund upon request via the our contact page. Tickets may also be kept and used for admittance to the rescheduled April event.

Additional information will be released in the coming months. We hope to see all of our friends, families and visitors at this popular event in April! 

This fun event, presented by the Majeed Foundation, will benefit the Foundation’s efforts to Preserve, Protect and Promote the beautiful waterfront parks in Downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Foundation President Phil Graham says, "Our waterfront parks are a great asset that need to be promoted and protected during the explosive development our city is enjoying."

A $25 donation to this 501(c)3 organization gets you admission to the event, entrance in the tournament and a free glass of champagne or sparkling cider. There will be additional beverages and food available for purchase.  Register online now and save $5.

In addition to a friendly round-robin shuffleboard tournament, there will be raffle drawings and a “Push for the Parks” skill competition for chances to win exceptional prizes including luxury hotel stays, magnums of champagne and family memberships to the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club to name a few. No shuffleboard experience is necessary, as lessons will be provided.

Vice-President Logan DeVicente says, "This is a fun way to help our beautiful parks while having some fun with your neighbors on a Sunday afternoon." Event Co-Chairman Don Howe adds, "Bring a friend to play shuffleboard and help promote the preservation of our parks."
